After graduating with a honours degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Lincoln (2012) and a
Diploma in Dental Nursing at Nottingham (2013), Dhivina went on to pursue her passion for dentistry and completed studies in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy at the University of Sheffield (2016) where she was awarded the South Yorkshire prize for paediatric dentistry. Dhivina has since worked as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist in our Hitchin and Houghton Regis practices since 2016.
Dhivina has a strong drive to be a caring clinician and whilst studying at Sheffield University, Dhivina took the opportunity to conduct some clinical work in Southern India on a charitable basis treating hundreds of children with high dental needs providing ART (atraumatic restorative technique).
Patient care and understanding is extremely important to Dhivina, she works hard to build rapport with our patients and works harder to gain patient trust. Dhivina excels in treating patients with dental anxieties/phobias due to her caring and gentle approach.
Dhivina believes that prevention is always better than cure, and thus educates our patients on optimal oral hygiene, which regularly results in beautiful smiles. Dhivina strives to keep up to date with evidence-based dentistry by attending regular professional development courses and is a member of various dental societies to ensure patients are receiving the best care.
In her free time, Dhivina enjoys charitable work, adrenaline activities such as skydiving, scuba diving, traveling and socialising with friends and family.
This dentist is currently brilliant if only my doctors at Moorswalk were as good as this dentist.
Staff was very friendly and the dentist was very calming, explained everything she was doing.
Staff are always very friendly.
Priya is very thorough and gentle. As a nervous patient, she reassured me and talked me through every step of my treatment which was of great comfort to me personally thank you Priya.
