It is essential to look for these early signs as late detection of oral cancer. According to the Oral Health Foundation, 8,864 people in the UK were diagnosed with the disease last year – up 36 per cent from a decade ago, with 3,034 people losing their lives to it within the year.
We recommend you visit us for screening at least once a year but do get in touch if you have any issues between appointments.
